NDBC COVID-19 WATCH: 2 die, 32 patients healed, 63 new infections, 49 of whom were from So. Cotabato

COTABATO CITY - Sixty-three new COVID-19 cases have been added to the rising number of confirmed COVID-19 patients in the Soccsksargen region, the Department of Health reported today.

Of the new cases, 49 were from South Cotabato and Polomolok had 35 new cases.

In a bulletin, DOH said 31 patients have defeated the virus and survived the disease. 

Two fatalities were reported, one each in Cotabato City and Gen. Santos City:

IPHO-Maguindanao condemns cyberbullying of health frontliner

COTABATO CITY – Maguindanao's top health official has appealed to the public to help fight coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) instead of cyberbullying health care front-liners.

"It has come to our attention that a recent malicious post was created by a certain netizen against a health care worker who serves as a front-liner against Covid-19. We, at IPHO-Maguindanao, condemn in the highest level these kinds of malicious posts, more so if without basis,” Dr. Elizabeth Samama said in a statement Saturday morning.

NDBC COVID 19 WATCH: 41 patients recover, 38 new cases in R-XII

COTABATO CITY - Forty-one novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patients have survived the disease in Region 12, the Department of Health in the Soccsksargen region today said.

Thirty-eight new cases were also recorded in the provinces of North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, South Cotabato and the cities of Cotabato and Gen. Santos.

No fatality was reported today, DOH said.

SoCot raises alarm over rising Covid-19 local transmission

GENERAL SANTOS CITY – Health authorities in South Cotabato raised the alarm on Thursday over the increasing coronavirus disease (Covid-19) transmission in private and government offices in the area.

Dr. Rogelio Aturdido Jr., chief of the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO), said in a press conference Thursday that they recorded a total of 213 confirmed infections that were traced to at least 10 offices--mostly government institutions.

CRMC and CHS receive medical equipment from BARMM-READi

COTABATO CITY—Rapid Emergency Action on Disaster Incidence (BARMM-READi) turned over complete sets of mechanical ventilator machines to Cotabato Regional and Medical Center (CRMC) and Cotabato Sanitarium Hospital (CSH) Thursday, Nov. 12.

BARMM-READi head Atty. Naguib G. Sinarimbo, who led the turnover ceremony of the medical equipment, said, "the equipment is tested with high quality assurance under the UN procurement standards being facilitated by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)."

NDBC COVID 19 WATCH: 3 deaths, 38 new cases and 51 recoveries in Region 12

COTABATO CITY - The Department of Health in REgion 12 today reported three deaths due to Covid-19, 38 new cases and 51 patients getting healed fom the disease.

In  bulletin, the DOH-12 reported the following:

▪️One reported death from Cotabato City City the 3288th reported confirmed case, 62 years old female. Cause of death is COVID Confirmed RT PCR Positive Result Cerebrovascular Disease Infarct, Pontomedullary Region, Hypertensive Stage II.

KORONADAL CITY - Naka-isolate na sa isolation facility ng lokal na pamahalaan ang labin anim na mga pulis na nagositibo sa COVID-19 sa Polomolok, South Cotabato.

Habang ang anim namang persons deprived of liberty o PDL na COVID-19 positive din ay inihiwalay ng selda ng Polomolok PNP. Kinumpirma ito ni Polomolok Deputy Chief of Police, Captain Rommel Hitalia. Ayon kay Hitalia ang nasabing mga COVID-19 positive persons ay pawang mga asymptomatic o walang sintomas.

NDBC COVID-19 WATCH: Again, 2 die due to Covid-19 in Region 12; 52 new infections reported

COTABATO CITY - Two more Covid-19 patients in REgion 12 have died, raising the death toll due to novel coronavirus disease 2019 to 107, health authorities said.

The two fatalities were from Gen. Santos City, 74 year-old male and 67-year-old female, both have co-morbidities.

Also on Wednesday, DOH reported 52 new infections from across the region with 37 patients defeating the virus and were heading for home.

NDBC COVID-19 WATCH: 4 deaths, 61 recover, 33 new cases

COTABATO CITY - The department of Health in the Soccsksargen Region today reported that four Covid-19 patients have died in the region, raisign the death toll to 105.

It also reported that 61 patients have defeated the virus and 33 others have contracted the disease, risign the total number of confirmed cases to 3,252. The number of patients who recovered from the disease rose to 2,487.

NDBC COVID-19 WATCH: BARMM records 6 new cases

COTABATO CITY - The Ministry of Health in the Bangsamoro Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOH-BARMM) today said six new Covid-19 infections have been reported in the region. 

The six new cases were from Maguindanao and Sulu, raising the total confirmed cases in the region to 2,160.
