CITY– Three years after hiding in a place in Davao City, some two hours
travel here, a murder suspect who confessed having killed his victim for being
a ‘witch’ was arrested by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and
Detection Team (CIDT) North Cotabato and the Central Mindanao Regional Public
Safety Battalion.

The
CIDT-Cotabato identified the suspect as Edgar Sarad, a resident of Barangay
Malungon, Makilala, who went into hiding after executing his victim in 2012.

KIDAPAWAN CITY - Two men riding tandem on a motorbike shot dead a Maguindanao village chair while he was driving his motorbike in North Cotabato Monday morning, police said.The victim, Melly Macaton-Pinagayao, 44, chairperson of Barangay Lasangan, Gen.
