Ang biktima ay isang Patrolman Brian Singco, 33-anyos na nakatira sa nasabing lugar.

Ayon sa ulat, dalawang suspect ang responsable sa pagbaril sa biktima.

Sa inisyal na imbestigasyon ng Pikit PNP, nabatid na off duty at nagre-repair lang ng bakod ng kanilang bahay si Singco nang pagbabarilin ito ng mga suspek.

Sa tiyan tinamaan ang biktima na agad namang naisugod sa bahay pagamutan.

COTABATO CITY – The chief of the Police Regional Office in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PRO-BARMM) called on field units to remain on alert at all times.

Brig. Gen. John Guyguyon gave the order during Monday’s flag-raising program at Camp S.K. Pendatun, the home of PRO-BARMM in Parang, Maguindanao, following the Aug. 30 ambush-slay of two police officers in Ampatuan town of the province.

MANILA – Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. on Friday ordered an "environmental scanning" to identify the risks in various areas to ensure the safety of police personnel during operations.

The order came following Tuesday's ambush in Ampatuan, Maguindanao where the town's police chief and another police officer were killed while they are about to serve a warrant of arrest on a wanted person in the area.

COTABATO CITY --- The police seized firearms and assorted rifle parts and ammunition found in the house of a murder suspect who eluded arrest Wednesday.

Juhari Jamael Barong, who has a pending murder case in the Regional Trial Court Branch 9 in Marawi City, had escaped before policemen and soldiers could surround his house in Barangay Bandira Buisan in Taraka, Lanao del Sur at about 3:00 a.m. Wednesday.

COTABATO CITY - Police Brig. Gen. John Guyguyon, director for the Bangsamoro Autonomus Region in Muslim Mindanao on Tuesday condemned the attack against Police Lt. Reynaldo Samson and his companion during law enforcement operation in Barangay Kapinpilan.

"We strongly condemn this monstrosity and are in deep sadness over this merciless killing of our comrade in service," Brig. Gen. Guyguyon said in a statement.
