Cotabato City canned goods prices up, DTI admits

COTABATO CITY --- Consumers can expect a slight price adjustment of canned goods in the city, the city Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) today said. According toDTI - Cotabato City OIC Carlito Nuñez based on the latest monitoring they conducted in some supermarkets here they noticed increase in prices of canned goods from 55 centavos up to 60 centavos. Nunez said aside from the canned goods, prices of some soap have also increased. Despite of the noticeable price hike, Nuñez said merchandisers in the city are religiously implementing the Suggested Retail Price policy. Nunez said the price adjustment was due to inflation reate.
