Leni greets Rody, says she will not unseat him

MANILA -- Vice President Leni Robredo’s birthday wish for President Rodrigo Duterte is good health as she prays for the chief executive to have more wisdom in order to run the country smoothly for the Filipino people until the end of his term.The President turned 72 on Tuesday. I am part of the administration and I want to help the President succeed in his endeavors. My criticisms are constructive and will never be part to unseat him, Robredo stressed.She also hopes the administration will soon listen to other views even if they oppose the President’s views as she repeatedly assured Duterte of her support in matters where they share belief, but she wishes to be heard on matters where they clash.She explained that her opposition to some issues does not mean she wants the Duterte administration to fail, but rather to see Filipinos improve their lives during his term.
