Officials cancel classes in South Cotabato

KORONADAL CITY - Due to persistent rains since 1 p.m. Wednesday to date, classes have been suspended in primary, elementary in at least 9 of 10 municipalities in South Cotabato.Low lying communities in the province have experienced rising water level due to continuous rains.In Davao City, classes in all levels have been suspended by Mayor Sarah Duterte due to inclement weather.In Koronadal City, city administrator Cyrus Urbano said school principals are given the authority to suspend or not classes today. PAG-ASA said the regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, CALABARZON, Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao and the provinces of Aurora and Mindoro.
