Rep. Sema reiterates stance on BBL

COTABATO CITY - Rep. Bai Sandra Sema of Maguindanao's first district with Cotabato City today reiterated her stand supporting the passage of the draft Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL).Sema told DXMS Radyo Bida that her stance remained and that the draft law should be passed by the House of Representatives.The House will vote on the draft BBL approved by the AdHoc Committee during today's plenary scheduled at 4 p.m. Nobody will benefit from the BBL but the Bangsamoro and the people of Mindanao, Sema said, adding that now is the time thepeople of Muslim Mindanao will also experience development like other regions in Visayas and Mindanao. Now is the time for all of us to take a stand and that is for peace and development of Mindanao, she added.Rep. Sema is the wife of former Cotabato City Mayor Muslimin Sema who now chairs a faction of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF).
