COTABATO CITY - President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., on Monday lauded the Army’s 6^th Infantry Division for its unrelenting anti-terror campaign and its feats in securing the return to the fold of law of enemies of state now reintegrated into mainstream society.

The President was at Camp Siongco in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte, where 6^th ID’s headquarters is located, on Monday afternoon, after his sorties in Parang and Barira towns in the province and in Pikit, Cotabato.

BARIRA, Maguindanao Norte — President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. urged the residents of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) on Monday to vote in the forthcoming BARMM regional elections in May 2025, the first to be held in the BARMM.

During a program held here in this former Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) camp to commemorate the 10th year anniversary of the signing of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB), President Marcos Jr. emphasized among the Bangsamoro people the importance of exercising their right to suffrage.

CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao del Norte - Seven soldiers who were wounded in an encounter with the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) were honored by the President of the Philippines, Ferdinand 'Bongbong' R. Marcos Jr.

President Marcos Jr., as the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, conferred the Wounded Personnel Medal upon seven soldiers injured in a skirmish between government troops and the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) today, (April 29, 2024).

COTABATO CITY --- Anti-narcotics agents seized P13.6 million worth shabu from a peddler who was killed in a shootout he provoked when he sensed he was to be arrested after a tradeoff in Luuk, Sulu on Saturday.

The suspect, Pailan Sahali Jumali, was declared dead on arrival by physicians at a hospital where agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and personnel of units under the Sulu Provincial Police Office brought him for treatment.

COTABATO CITY -  The Philippine Marine Corps (PMC), through the 1st Marine Brigade, in collaboration with the United States Marine Corps (USMC), has successfully concluded a significant Community Relations (COMREL) activity at Mohammad A. COTABATO CITY — Bangsamoro Airways, a pioneering airline based in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), will begin flying across the region on April 24, 2024.

Bangsamoro Airways, operated by Federal Airways Incorporated, aims to connect mainland BARMM to its island provinces to make the provision of significant services accessible, strengthen bureaucracy and logistics, and bolster the region’s economy, tourism, and employment, among others.

PICONG, Lanao del Sur - After a thorough investigation and follow-up operation, operatives were able to identify the seven individuals involved in the Picong ambush that wounded one of the police officers on April 18, 2024.

Following the identification of the suspects, personnel of Picong MPS, in coordination with Lanao del Sur Police Provincial Office, RMFB 14-A, Regional Intelligence Division, PSOG/PDEU, 1st and 2nd PMFC, Malabang MPS, and 4th SAB-SAF, carried out a hot pursuit operation.
