ISABELA CITY - A shooting incident occurred at approximately 1:50 PM today in front of Sumisip District Hospital, Brgy Basak, Sumisip, Basilan, involving Hon. Nasser Asarul, the 2nd District Board Member.

The incident led to a swift response from Sumisip Municipal Police Station personnel, led by Police Senior Master Sergeant Gajhier M Baral.

Initial reports from the police blotter dated November 8, 2023, revealed that an argument erupted while Hon. Nasser Asarul and his group were having refreshments at a local eatery.

KIDAPAWAN CITY - PANGATLO sa biktima ng pamamaril ngayong araw sa Pikit, North Cotabato ang isang Didik Villarubia, nasa hustong gulang na residente ng nasabing bayan.

Nangyari ang pamamaril malapit sa La Presa, sa bahagi ng Barangay Gli-gli, Pikit, North Cotabato ngayong hapon. Ang biktima ay isang tricycle driver.

Bago nito, ay dalawang lalaki rin ang binaril at pinatay sa Barangay Nunguan, Pikit kaninang umaga.

Parehong nakakuha ng 997 votes ang dalawa.

COTABATO CITY  – Two male voters and supporters of a local candidate in Maguindanao del Sur were shot to death today by still unidentified attackers, police said.

Lt. Col. Esmael Madin, police chief of Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte, said the unidentified victims were about to enter the Bugawas Elementary School in Barangay Bugawas, to vote when attacked by still unidentified suspects at about 6 a.m.

The suspects fled on a motorbike, police said.

There was a commotion between and among supporters of rival candidates when the shooting occurred. 

CAMP SK PENDATUN, Maguindanao del Norte - Ang Police Regional Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR) ay mahigpit na ipatutupad ang liquor ban sa buong rehiyong Bangsamoro para sa gaganaping Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections ngayong Oct. 30.

Alinsunod sa Commision on Elections (COMELEC) Resolution No. 10924, ang liquor ban ay epektibo na simula October 29, 2023 hanggang October 30, 2023.

Balak umano sanang pasabugan ng grupo ni Tantrex Eskak ang Municipal Police Station ng Datu Unsay subalit sumabog umano ito habang kinakabit ang components ng IED.

COTABATO CITY - INARESTO kagabi ng mga tauhan ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group o CIDG-BARMM si Mayor Solaiman Sandigan ng Datu Salibo, Maguindanao del Sur.

Alas 7 kagabi nang i-serve ng mga tauhan ng CIDG ang warrant of arrest laban kay Sandigan sa bahay nito sa Barangay Poblacion, Datu Salibo.

Ang warrant of arrest ay inisyu ng 12th Judicial Region RTC Branch 15, Cotabato City. Walang inirekomendang pyansa ang korte.

Si Sandigan ay inaresto dahil siya ay iniuugnay sa pagpatay kay Datu Salibo town Councilor Demson Silongan noong April 2023.

COTABATO CITY – Police operatives, backed by soldiers, arrested a high-value target engaged in illegal drugs during an anti-drug operation Wednesday afternoon in Barangay Ungap, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte.

The anti-drug operation was led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao in partnership with Sultan Kudarat police office and Army, according to Rose Mary, speaking for PDEA-BARMM.

KORONADAL CITY - Sumakabilang buhay na hatinggabi kanina si Lake Sebu Mayor Floro Gandam Sr.

Siya ay 66 na taong gulang.

Ito ang kinumpirma ng misis nitong si Maria Gandam sa panayam ng Radyo Bida- Koronadal.

Dagdag nito September 28, 2023 nang dinala si Mayor Gandam sa isang pribadong ospital sa General Santos City dahil sa mild stroke.

Nabatid na tatlong araw itong comatose bago namatay.

Nakatakdang magpalabas ng official statement ang pamilya at ngayong araw ay iuuwi si Mayor Gandam sa bayan.
