MANILA - Ngayong 4 PM, Enero 10, 2022, ang Department of Health ay nakapagtala ng 33,169 na karagdagang kaso ng COVID-19. Samantala ay mayroon namang naitalang 3,725 na gumaling at 145 na pumanaw.

Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga naitalang kaso sa bansa, 5.3% (157,526) ang aktibong kaso, 93.0% (2,788,711) na ang gumaling, at 1.74% (52,293) ang namatay.

Ayon sa pinakahuling ulat, lahat ng mga laboratoryo ay operational noong January 8, 2022 habang mayroong 10 laboratoryo na hindi nakapagsumite ng datos sa COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS).

Overall, there are a total of 57,273 COVID-19 confirmed cases reported to DOH CHD SOCCSKSARGEN region. 189 (0.33%) are active cases, 54,753 (95.60%) recoveries and 2,312 (4.04%) COVID-19 related deaths.

MANILA – The Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday reported 2,579 recoveries and 28,707 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections.

The latest Covid-19 bulletin indicated 128,114 active cases while total recoveries rose to 2,785,183, or 93.9 percent of 2,965,447 infections since the pandemic started in March 2020.

Out of the active cases, 119,276 are mild, 2,851 are moderate, 4,213 are asymptomatic, 1,465 are severe, and 309 are critical.

KIDAPAWAN CITY – Health officials in North Cotabato have sent a team to help the municipal health office of Pikit town to contain rising number of persons with typhoid fever.

As of Tuesday, the North Cotabato Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) said least 30 persons have been hospitalized due typhoid fever that hit a remote village of Manaulanan.

On Tuesday, Dr. Eva Rabaya, North Cotabato provincial health officer, said the 30 patients were all residents of Barangay Manaulanan, many of whom have taken unsafe drinking water since last week of December.

MANILA – Amid the recent spike in Covid-19 cases, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) ordered the implementation of health protocols in all transport sectors.

DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade said the safety of commuters is always paramount.

“We must make sure that health protocols are strictly implemented in all public transport vehicles and in all transport facilities,” Tugade said in a news release on Saturday.

Tugade’s call came two days before Metro Manila goes under Alert Level 3 from January 3 to 15.

MANILA – The Department of Health (DOH) described 2021 as the year of recovery from the prevailing pandemic, learning from lessons in 2020 when the country and the entire world were caught unprepared in dealing with the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

It is also the year Filipinos saw hope and an end to the pandemic with the arrival of life-saving shots in February -- a donation of Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine from the Chinese government.
