To all our valued customers, please be informed of the scheduled power interruption affecting customers in Notre Dame Avenue, Cotabato City on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 8:00 AM- 10:00 AM (2 hours).

This is to facilitate the restructuring of primary line maintenance activity in the area.

Cotelco electric meter reader patay sa pamamaril sa Carmen, North Cotabato

KIDAPAWAN CITY - HINDI na nakauwi ng buhay ang isang meter reader matapos itong mabiktima ng pamamaril kaninang alas 4:40 ng hapon sa Barangay Ugalingan, Carmen, North Cotabato.

Kinilala ang nasawi na si Ruben F. Reyes, nasa wastong gulang, meter reader na residente ng Barangay Kibudtungan ng nasabing bayan.

Tinamaan sa iba't ibang bahagi ng katawan ang biktima na siyang dahilan ng kaniyang agarang kamatayan.

Inaalam pa ang pagkakakilanlan ng suspek at motibo sa krimen.

Hustisya ang sigaw ng kaanak ng biktima.

Escapee wanted for multiple rape, vehicle theft, rearrested

KIDAPAWAN CITY - The police again arrested on Thursday night a suspect facing multiple rape and vehicle theft cases who had daringly bolted from a well-guarded detention facility in Makilala, North Cotabato in 2022.

The 33-year-old Bryan Louie Jayon Sanoy was arrested while near the premises of their residence in Apo Sandawa, a residential site here, that he reportedly intended to visit but was spotted by vigilant neighbors who immediately reported his presence in the area to the police.

Cotabato Light donates goods for Bahay Maria home for the aged

COTABATO CITY - As part of its community outreach program, the Cotabato Light and Power Company successfully handed over donations to the Bahay Maria Foundation thanks to the combined efforts of its Labor Management Committee (LMC).

DOLE 12 reminds employers to release 13th month pay before Dec. 24

KORONADAL CITY - The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in the Soccsksargen region has reminded employers to release the 13th-month pay of their employees on the 13th or not later than December 24 of this year.

DOLE 12 Information Officer Charles Bataga also reminded employers of the proper computation in releasing the 13th month's pay according to the Labor Code of the Philippines and Presidential Decree No. 851, which specifically requires all employers to pay their employees a 13th month's pay.

Winds destroy 83 houses, farms in North Cotabato’s `rice granary’

COTABATO CITY - Up to 83 houses were destroyed and more than a hundred hectares of rice farms were damaged by extraordinarily strong winds that battered four barangays in Kabacan town in North Cotabato province over the weekend.

The Kabacan Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, personnel of the Army’s 602nd Infantry Brigade and emergency responders from the North Cotabato provincial government are together providing affected residents with essential humanitarian support to ease their plight.

It's a wrap! Cotabato Light Community Outreach Activity successfully extended to the children and parents of Sitio Tarebeng, Kalanganan Mother, Cotabato City as part of its yearly Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.

This year's host community was the last sitio under the franchise area of Cotabato Light that was fully energized last January 2023 under the rural electrification project.
