COTABATO CITY --- Suspected members of a local terrorist group killed two policemen and wounded four others in an ambush on Wednesday night in Shariff Aguak town in Maguindanao del Sur.

Brig. Allan C. Nobleza, director of the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, identified the fatalities as Patrolman Saipoden S. Macacuna and Patrolman Bryan D. Polayagan, who both died on the spot from multiple bullet wounds.

PIKIT, NORTH COTABATO – Hinagisan ng granada ng di pa tukoy na suspek ang isang guro habang mahimbing na natutulog, sa Barangay Ginatilan, Pikit, North Cotabato alas 2:00 ng madaling araw kanina.

Sa panayam kay Pikit PNP Chief Police Lt. Col John Miredel Calinga, dead on arrival ang biktima na nakilalang si Marichu Valle Cabañog, 42-anyos, guro ng Balong Elementary School.

Lumalabas sa imbestigasyon na natutulog lang ang guro kasama ang kanyang pamilya nang makarinig ng malakas na pagsabog na maaring inihagis sa bintana ng silid.

CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao del Norte – Agad na napigilan ng mga elemento ng militar at pulisya ang tangkang pagpapasabog sana sa tower ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines o NGCP sa Sitio Punol, Batulawan, Pikit na sakop ng Special Geographic Area ng BARMM.

Ayon kay Lt. Col. Rowel Gavilanes, ang Commanding Officer ng 90th Infantry (Bigkis-Lahi) Battalion, agad na ‘disarmed’ ng EOD ng militar katuwang ng PNP ang tatlong mga IEDs o anti-personnel mine na tangkang pasabugin sa NGCP tower No. 39 sa nasabing lugar.

COTABATO CITY - Investigators are still clueless on the near fatal ambush Thursday of a public school teacher in Datu Anggal Midtimbang town in Maguindanao del Sur.

Brig. Gen. Allan Nobleza, director of the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, told reporters Saturday probers have enlisted the help of local officials in identifying the ambushers of Israel Paguital.

Paguital was seriously wounded in the attack.

Paguital was driving his car when gunmen, positioned at one side of the highway in Barangay Midtimbang in Datu Anggal Midtimbang, opened fire.

GEN. SANTOS CITY - Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg, PRO-12 regional director, is deeply saddened and condemned in the strongest terms the fatal death of a victim in a shooting incident on June 8, 2023, 5:58 AM in Purok 5, Block 4, Barangay Fatima, General Santos City.

The victim was identified as Roger Albarasin Jayuma, 63-year-old, businessman and resident of Purok 20, Block 1, Barangay Fatima, General Santos City.

Ang biktima ay dumalo lang sa isang family reunion nang tangkang barilin ng mga suspek.

Kinilala ni Police Station 1 Commander Major John Vincent Bravo ang biktima na si Norodin Magindra Manarasal, 56-anyos na taga Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur Agad namang rumesponde ang mga tauhan ng PNP station 1 at naabutan ang dalawang mga suspek.

ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat - Acting on a tip, police authorities in Maguindanao del Sur and Sultan Kudarat arrested in the hospital on Sunday a woman suspected of serving as finance officer of Dawlah Islamiya terrorist group, police said today.

Captain Joel Lebrillo, police chief of Rajah Buayan municipal police station in Maguindanao del Sur, said Racma Dinggo Hassan, who also goes by the name Halimba Ebrahim, was arrested at the Sultan Kudarat provincial hospital here on the basis of an arrest warrant against her.

PARANG, Maguindanao del Norte - A Search Warrant for Violation of RA 10591 was successfully served by joint elements of 1403rd MFC-RMFB14, CIDG Lanao Del Sur PFU, LDS PPO, PIT LDS RIU-15, PECU LDS, and Marawi City Police Station, that further resulted in the arrest of two (2) suspects on May 4, 2023, at Brgy. Poblacion, Marawi City, Lanao Del Sur.

COTABATO CITY - Anti-narcotics agents seized P3.4 million worth of shabu from two dealers entrapped here Thursday, barely two days after policemen arrested three traffickers in a P2.3 million sting in Pagadian City.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region is now in custody of Solaiman Mastura Mohammad and his cohort, Bayan Mohammad Akmad, from whom its agents confiscated P3.4 million worth of shabu in a tradeoff on Thursday afternoon in Purok Katamlangan in Barangay Rosary Heights 8 in southeast of this city.

COTABATO CITY - Anti-narcotics agents seized P2.3 million worth of shabu from three men who fell in a sting on Tuesday in a hotel in Pagadian City.

In a statement Wednesday, the Police Regional Office 9 identified the suspects as Ronilo Toting Obedas, Niel Ampoller Sasing and Mark Jumawan Sumera, all from Maranding town in Lanao del Sur in Region 10.

The suspects were immediately frisked and cuffed after turning over 300 grams of shabu, valued at P2.3 million, to non-uniformed policemen in a tradeoff at JRC Hotel, in Purok Sampaguita in Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City.
