MOH turns over health projects under BTA's fund

COTABATO CITY — Bangsamoro Government’s Ministry of Health (MOH) turned over on Tuesday, May 18, several ambulances, medical equipment, and financial assistance to various recipients under the Bangsamoro Transition Authority’s (BTA) Transition Development Impact Fund (TDIF) project.

The project is an initiative of the Members of the Parliament (MPs) which is aimed at boosting quality health care services, and addressing the gaps and challenges in the region’s health services.

PH to ‘prepare for the worst’ with new Covid variants: Duterte

MANILA – The government might be forced to go full blast on the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), in case the country faces a worst-case scenario, President Rodrigo Duterte said on Monday.

Duterte raised the possibility as he lamented that the Covid-19 is becoming “dangerous” because of the discovery of more “serious” variants.

Entire village in NoCot town on lockdown due to COVID-19 spike

KIDAPAWAN CITY  – The local Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19) will place a village in Carmen, North Cotabato under lockdown status due to rising virus infections.

Carmen Mayor Moises Arendain, who chairs the town IATF, said the decision to declare a lockdown in the whole of Barangay Poblacion was reached after the task force have difficulty finding persons who have close contacts with those infected with the virus.

Cotabato City lists 13 new COVID-19 infections, BARMM has 27

COTABATO CITY - Thirteen new infections are listed in this city as the Bangsamoro Region listed 27 new infection today.

Of the 27 regionawide list, 10 were also listed in Maguindanao.

The Bangsamoro IATF also listed 16 patients to have recovered and the total death now is 218.
