DATU ODIN SINSUAT, Maguindanao --- The police and Army deployed here peacekeeping teams following Friday’s murder near a mosque a Moro datu belonging to a ruling clan.

Two were killed, Datu Jamael Sinsuat, a former barangay chairman here, and his still unidentified attacker.

The nephew of Sinsuat, Darius, was wounded in another shooting incident here hours later.

Sinsuat was to board his vehicle, from a mosque, when he was approached and shot by the suspect from behind.

Sinsuat’s companions returned fire, killing the suspect instantly. 

COTABATO CITY – The United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP), political party of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has condemned the murder of Datu Jam Q. Sinsuat on Friday.

Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo, UBJP secretary general, issued the condemnation after Datu Jam was shot dead outside a Mosque in Barangay Dalican, Datu Odin Sinsuat.

“We condemn the brutal killing of one of our Party leaders in Dalican, Datu Jam Q. Sinsuat, Sr,” Sinarimbo said.

DATU ODIN SINSUAT, Maguindanao - Three were killed, among them a popular Moro datu, in a gunfight just after a traditional Friday Islamic worship rite in a mosque in a busy area here.

Datu Jamael Sinsuat, who lost in his bid for this town’s mayoral post during the May 9 elections, died on the spot from bullet wounds sustained in an attack by a suspected hired killer.

COTABATO CITY - Police have launched manhunt against unidentified gunmen who shot dead a former village chairperson while he was emerging from a Friday prayer in Barangay Dalican, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.

Mayor Lester S. Sinsuat of Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao has ordered the local police to hunt down the suspect and bring justice to his fallen uncle.

COTABATO CITY --- Two more deadly gun attacks rocked the troubled Pikit town in Cotabato province Thursday, the latest in an unending spate of violent incidents in the area.

Initial reports obtained Friday from the Cotabato Provincial Police Office stated that the first fatality in the separate incidents is Eliseo Pangako, killed by gunmen in Barangay Balatican, Pikit at past 6:00 p.m. Thursday.

The attacker also shot and wounded two grandchildren of Pangako, both minors.

COTABATO CITY - Two workers in a livestock feed mill were killed while on their way to work in a daring gun attack Tuesday in Polomolok town in South Cotabato.

In a statement Thursday, the Police Regional Office-12, said the duo, Moad Daloro and Saharudin Malinao, died on the spot from multiple gunshot wounds.

Daloro, 25, and a co-worker, the 22-year-old Malinao, were together in a private tricycle, en route to their workplace in a barangay far from the town proper of Polomolok, when men on a motorcycle trailing behind shot them with pistols as they got close.

COTABATO CITY – Philippine Government security forces arrested two men claiming to be military commanders of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) during separate law enforcement units here and in Lanao del Sur.

The law enforcement operations by combined police and Philippine Marines was launched against Kagi Musa Ameril, leader of Amirel private armed group operating in the adjoining coastal towns of Kapatagan, Balabagan and Malabang, all in Lanao del Sur.

Ito mismo ang kinumpirma ni MBLT-2 Battalion Commander LTCOL Serge Ronquillo sa DXMS Radyo Bida. Kinilala ang suspek na si Jamal Balindong Pumbaya alyas Bolkia.

Malala na noong linggo ng gabi ay inambush ng mga armadong kalalakihan ang mga sundalong Marino habang sila ay sakay ng KM450 at nagpapatrolya.

Nagtamo ng tama ng bala sa paa ang mga biktima pero ngayon ay nasa maayos nang kalagayan.
